Soolantra 10mg/g Cream is a topical treatment used for rosacea where clinically appropriate. It contains Ivermectin 10 mg/g.
Soolantra is a prescription cream for inflammatory lesions of papulopustular rosacea in adults. It is applied to facial skin once daily when clinically suitable.
Suitability depends on your symptoms, medical history, current medicines, allergies, previous treatment and pregnancy or breastfeeding considerations where relevant.
How to use
Use Soolantra 10mg/g Cream exactly as directed by your pharmacist, prescriber or the patient information leaflet supplied with the product.
The treatment schedule for rosacea is: Once daily. Do not change the dose, frequency or duration unless advised by a clinician.
Apply a thin layer to the affected area as directed. Wash your hands after application unless the hands are the area being treated, and avoid the eyes, mouth and other mucous membranes unless the product is specifically intended for them.
Requires clinical review. Avoid the eyes, eyelids, lips and mucous membranes. Suitability should include pregnancy or breastfeeding status, skin sensitivity, other facial treatments and whether symptoms suggest ocular rosacea or another diagnosis.
If symptoms of rosacea worsen, do not respond as expected or you develop a serious reaction, stop and seek appropriate clinical advice.
