i-Prescribe operates a registered pharmacy regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council. Our medicines and prescribing activities are carried out in accordance with applicable UK legislation, including the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, professional standards issued by the GPhC, and relevant guidance from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency.

3. Medical emergencies
Our services are not suitable for medical emergencies.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, you should immediately:

- Attend your nearest Accident & Emergency Department.
- Contact NHS 111 for urgent medical advice.
Do not rely on our website, email or messaging service for emergency medical assistance.
4. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be ordinarily resident within the United Kingdom.
- Meet the minimum age requirement for the service requested.
- Be legally capable of making decisions regarding your healthcare.

- Agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Certain treatments may have additional eligibility criteria which will be explained during your consultation. We reserve the right to refuse access to our services where eligibility requirements are not met.
5. Creating an account
Some services require you to create an online account.
You are responsible for:

- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
- Ensuring the information held within your account remains accurate and up to date.
You must not create multiple accounts or impersonate another individual. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, you should notify us immediately.
We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts where fraudulent activity or misuse is suspected.
6. Identity verification
To protect patients and comply with UK legal and regulatory requirements, we may verify your identity before providing certain services or supplying prescription medicines.
Identity verification may be carried out using trusted third-party verification providers. Where necessary, we may request additional identification documents before treatment can proceed.
If we are unable to verify your identity satisfactorily, we may decline to provide treatment or cancel your order.
7. Clinical consultations
All clinical consultations submitted through i-Prescribe are reviewed by appropriately qualified UK healthcare professionals.
Completion of an online consultation questionnaire and payment for a consultation does not guarantee that treatment or a prescription will be provided.
During the assessment, our clinicians may:
- Request further information.
- Request photographs where clinically appropriate.
- Request proof of identity.
- Recommend that you consult your GP or another healthcare professional.
- Recommend alternative treatment options.
- Decline treatment where it is not clinically appropriate or safe.
Clinical decisions are made solely in the interests of patient safety and in accordance with current clinical guidance and professional standards.
8. Your responsibilities
By using our services you agree that:
- All information provided is true, accurate and complete.
- You will disclose all current medical conditions.
- You will disclose all medicines you are taking, including over-the-counter and herbal medicines.
- You will disclose any allergies or previous adverse reactions.
- You will disclose pregnancy or breastfeeding where relevant.
- You will inform us if your medical circumstances change before treatment is supplied.
Providing inaccurate or misleading information may result in treatment being declined and could place your health at risk.
9. Prescribing decisions
The decision to prescribe any medicine rests solely with the prescribing clinician.
Our clinicians exercise independent professional judgement and will only prescribe where they believe it is safe, appropriate and in your best interests.
We reserve the right to decline any request for treatment where:
- The requested medicine is not clinically appropriate.
- Insufficient clinical information has been provided.
- There are concerns regarding patient safety.
- Identity cannot be verified.
- Safeguarding concerns arise.
- There is suspected misuse of our services.
Alternative treatment options or referral to another healthcare provider may be recommended where appropriate.
10. Orders and contract formation
Placing an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase services and, where appropriate, medicines.
Your order is subject to:
- Successful clinical assessment where required.
- Identity verification where required.
- Payment authorisation.
- Medicine availability.
Submission of an order does not mean it has been accepted.
A legally binding contract is formed only when:
- Your consultation has been approved where applicable.
- We send confirmation that your order has been accepted for dispatch.
If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and arrange an appropriate refund where applicable.
11. Pricing and payment
All prices displayed on our website are shown in Pounds Sterling and include VAT where applicable.
Unless otherwise stated, the price shown includes the clinical consultation, prescribing assessment where appropriate and dispensing of medicines.
Payment must be made in full before your consultation or order can be processed.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without prior notice. However, any price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.
If a pricing error occurs on our website, we reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund before dispatch.
12. Availability of medicines
All medicines are supplied subject to stock availability.
Where a prescribed medicine is temporarily unavailable, we may:
- Contact you regarding expected availability.
- Offer a clinically appropriate alternative, subject to prescriber approval.
- Issue a full refund where appropriate.
We cannot guarantee the availability of any particular medicine at all times.
13. Delivery
We aim to dispatch approved orders as quickly as possible. Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- Royal Mail or courier services.
- Adverse weather conditions.
- Industrial action.
- Customs or transport disruption.
- Incorrect delivery information supplied by you.
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
It is your responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address and ensure someone is available to receive the parcel where required.
Ownership of medicines transfers to you upon successful delivery.
14. Refrigerated medicines
Certain medicines supplied by i-Prescribe require refrigerated storage during transport and after delivery.
These medicines are packaged using validated temperature-controlled packaging designed to maintain the required temperature during transit.
Upon delivery you should:
- Open the parcel promptly.
- Inspect the contents.
- Refrigerate the medicine immediately in accordance with the manufacturerβs instructions.
If refrigerated medicines have been significantly delayed, damaged or appear unsuitable for use, please contact us before using the medication.
15. Cancellations
You may request cancellation before your consultation has been clinically assessed.
Where a healthcare professional has already completed a clinical review, we reserve the right to retain a reasonable clinical assessment fee to cover professional time.
Once prescription medicines have been dispensed and prepared for dispatch, cancellation may no longer be possible.
16. Returns and refunds
Due to patient safety and the nature of prescription medicines, prescription medicines cannot normally be returned once dispensed or dispatched.
This is in accordance with applicable UK legislation and patient safety requirements.
Refunds may be available where:
- Treatment has not been approved.
- Medicines cannot be supplied.
- Medicines are received damaged.
- We have supplied the incorrect item.
- Your statutory consumer rights require us to provide a refund.
Nothing within these Terms affects your statutory rights.
17. Patient safety
Medicines supplied by i-Prescribe are intended solely for the individual named on the prescription or order.
You agree to:
- Read the Patient Information Leaflet before taking any medicine.
- Use medicines exactly as directed.
- Store medicines safely.
- Keep medicines out of the reach of children.
- Seek medical advice if your condition worsens or you experience unexpected side effects.
Medicines should never be shared with another person.
18. Communication with your GP
Where clinically appropriate and in the interests of your safety, we may share relevant information regarding your consultation or treatment with your GP or another healthcare professional involved in your care.
Where possible, we will seek your consent before doing so. However, we may disclose information without your consent where required by law or where we believe it is necessary to protect your health or the safety of others.
19. Website security, viruses and hacking
Whilst we take reasonable steps to protect our website and maintain appropriate security measures, we cannot guarantee that our website will always be secure or free from bugs, viruses or other malicious software.
You are responsible for ensuring that the device you use to access our website has appropriate security measures, including up-to-date antivirus software and firewalls where appropriate.
You must not:
- Knowingly introduce viruses, malware, ransomware, spyware, Trojan horses, worms or other malicious software.
