Rozex 0.75% Gel is a topical treatment used for rosacea where clinically appropriate. It contains Metronidazole 0.75%.
Rozex contains topical metronidazole and is used for inflammatory papules, pustules and redness associated with rosacea. It is normally applied in a thin layer morning and evening when prescribed.
Suitability depends on your symptoms, medical history, current medicines, allergies, previous treatment and pregnancy or breastfeeding considerations where relevant.
How to use
Use Rozex 0.75% Gel exactly as directed by your pharmacist, prescriber or the patient information leaflet supplied with the product.
The treatment schedule for rosacea is: Twice daily. Do not change the dose, frequency or duration unless advised by a clinician.
Apply a thin layer to the affected area as directed. Wash your hands after application unless the hands are the area being treated, and avoid the eyes, mouth and other mucous membranes unless the product is specifically intended for them.
Requires suitability review, including skin sensitivity, current medicines and previous reactions to metronidazole. Avoid contact with the eyes and seek review if treatment is not controlling symptoms as expected.
If symptoms of rosacea worsen, do not respond as expected or you develop a serious reaction, stop and seek appropriate clinical advice.
