Pre-Injection Wipes

Pre-Injection Wipes are alcohol-based skin cleansing wipes used before injections where appropriate. They are commonly used to clean the skin before injectable medicines, blood tests, vaccinations or other minor procedures.

Each wipe is usually individually wrapped and intended for single use. Pre-Injection Wipes do not contain medicine and do not replace correct injection technique, hand hygiene, sterile needles or safe sharps disposal.

These wipes are suitable for patients using compatible injectable medicines, including some insulin pens and GLP-1 injection pens, where skin cleansing has been advised as part of the injection process.
