Laxido Orange Sachets
You will answer clinical questions before treatment is considered. Submitting a consultation does not guarantee supply.
Laxido Orange Sachets is a treatment used for constipation where clinically appropriate. It contains Macrogol 3350 with sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen carbonate and potassium chloride.
Macrogol is an osmotic laxative that draws water into the bowel and softens stool. For common adult formulations, the usual constipation dose is 1 to 3 sachets daily in divided doses, adjusted according to response.
Suitability depends on your symptoms, medical history, current medicines, allergies, previous treatment and pregnancy or breastfeeding considerations where relevant.
How to use
Use Laxido Orange Sachets exactly as directed by your pharmacist, prescriber or the patient information leaflet supplied with the product.
The treatment schedule for constipation is: 1 to 3 sachets daily. Do not change the dose, frequency or duration unless advised by a clinician.
Dissolve each sachet in the amount of water stated in the patient leaflet and drink the prepared solution. Adjust only within the advised dose range.
Dissolve each sachet according to the product instructions and maintain normal fluid intake. Other oral medicines should generally be taken at least 1 hour before or 1 hour after macrogol. Review electrolyte content in kidney or heart disease.
If symptoms of constipation worsen, do not respond as expected or you develop a serious reaction, stop and seek appropriate clinical advice.
