How to use
Use Doxycycline 100mg Capsules exactly as directed by your pharmacist, prescriber or the patient information leaflet supplied with the product.
The treatment schedule for acute sinusitis is: Once daily after loading dose. Do not change the dose, frequency or duration unless advised by a clinician.
Swallow each dose with plenty of water while sitting or standing and avoid lying down for at least 30 minutes afterwards. Separate antacids and supplements containing iron, calcium, magnesium or zinc from the dose as advised.
Not the routine alternative in pregnancy. Requires review of interactions, swallowing problems, photosensitivity risk and other clinical factors. Take with plenty of water while upright.
If symptoms of acute sinusitis worsen, do not respond as expected or you develop a serious reaction, stop and seek appropriate clinical advice.
