I-Prescribe operates a registered pharmacy regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council. Our pharmacy, prescribing and medicines supply services are provided in accordance with applicable UK legislation and professional standards.

2. Our Services

We provide private pharmacy and healthcare services online and, where available, in person.

Services may include online clinical consultations, independent prescribing, dispensing and supply of prescription medicines, pharmacy medicines, healthcare advice, weight management services, men's and women's health services, hair loss treatments, emergency contraception and NHS prescription services where applicable.

The availability of treatments and services may change from time to time.

3. Medical Emergencies

Our services are not intended for medical emergencies.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 or attend your nearest Accident & Emergency Department. For urgent medical advice, contact NHS 111.

Do not rely on our website, email or messaging services for emergency medical assistance.

4. Eligibility

To use our services, you must ordinarily reside in the United Kingdom, meet any applicable age requirements, be legally capable of making decisions regarding your healthcare and provide accurate, truthful and complete information.

Individual treatments may have additional eligibility requirements.

We may refuse to provide a service where eligibility requirements are not met.

5. Your Account

Some services require an online account.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure, maintaining the confidentiality of your password and ensuring your personal and medical information remains accurate and up to date.

You must not impersonate another person or create accounts for the purpose of avoiding clinical, safety or identity controls.

We may suspend or close accounts where fraud, misuse or inappropriate activity is suspected.

6. Identity Verification

We may carry out identity, age or address verification before providing certain healthcare services or supplying prescription medicines.

Verification may be carried out using trusted third-party providers, and additional identification may be requested where necessary.

If we cannot satisfactorily verify your identity, we may decline treatment or cancel your order.

7. Clinical Consultations

Online consultations are reviewed by appropriately qualified UK healthcare professionals.

Completing a consultation or making payment does not guarantee that a prescription, medicine or treatment will be provided.

Our clinicians may request additional information, photographs, identification or supporting documentation. They may also recommend another treatment, ask you to contact your GP or another healthcare professional, or decline treatment where it is not clinically appropriate or safe.

Clinical decisions are made independently and in accordance with patient safety, professional judgement and applicable clinical guidance.

8. Your Responsibilities

You must provide complete and accurate information about your health.

This includes your medical conditions, current medicines, over-the-counter and herbal medicines, allergies, previous adverse reactions, pregnancy or breastfeeding status where relevant, and any other information requested during your consultation.

You must inform us of relevant changes to your medical circumstances before treatment is supplied.

Providing inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information may result in treatment being declined and may place your health at risk.

9. Prescribing Decisions

The decision to prescribe a medicine rests solely with the prescribing clinician.

Treatment may be declined where the requested medicine is inappropriate, insufficient information has been provided, there are patient safety or safeguarding concerns, identity cannot be verified or misuse of the service is suspected.

Where appropriate, an alternative treatment or referral to another healthcare professional may be recommended.

10. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the relevant service or medicine.

Orders remain subject to clinical approval where required, identity verification, payment authorisation and medicine availability.

Submitting and paying for an order does not mean that it has been accepted.

An order is accepted once any required clinical assessment has been successfully completed and we confirm that the order has been accepted for fulfilment or dispatch.

If we cannot fulfil an order, we will notify you and arrange any appropriate refund.

11. Prices and Payment

Prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling and include VAT where applicable.

Unless otherwise stated, the displayed price may include the clinical consultation, prescribing assessment and dispensing service associated with the treatment.

Payment must be made before an order or consultation can be processed.

We may change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

If an incorrect price has been displayed because of an error, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund before dispatch.

12. Medicine Availability

All medicines are subject to availability.

If a prescribed medicine is unavailable, we may contact you regarding availability, arrange a clinically appropriate alternative with prescriber approval or provide a refund where appropriate.

We cannot guarantee continuous availability of any particular medicine.

13. Delivery

We aim to dispatch approved orders as quickly as reasonably possible. Delivery dates and times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery may be affected by courier or Royal Mail delays, weather, industrial action, transport disruption, incorrect delivery information or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

14. Refrigerated and Cold-Chain Medicines

Certain medicines require temperature-controlled storage and transportation.

These products are dispatched using appropriate temperature-controlled packaging.

On receipt, you should open the parcel promptly, check the medicine and store it in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

If a refrigerated medicine is significantly delayed, damaged or appears unsuitable for use, contact us before using it.

15. Cancellations

You may request cancellation before your consultation has been clinically assessed.

Where a healthcare professional has already completed a clinical assessment, we may retain a reasonable consultation or clinical assessment fee where this has been appropriately disclosed.

Once prescription medicines have been dispensed or prepared for dispatch, cancellation may no longer be possible.

16. Returns and Refunds

Prescription medicines cannot normally be returned once they have been dispensed or dispatched due to patient safety and medicines storage requirements.

A refund may be available where treatment is declined, the medicine cannot be supplied, the incorrect medicine or product has been supplied, the medicine arrives damaged or your statutory consumer rights otherwise entitle you to a remedy.

Approved refunds will normally be returned using the original payment method.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

17. Safe Use of Medicines

Medicines supplied by I-Prescribe are intended only for the person named on the prescription or order.

You must read the Patient Information Leaflet, follow the directions provided by the prescriber or pharmacist, store medicines appropriately and keep medicines away from children.

Medicines must not be shared with another person.

Seek appropriate medical advice if your condition worsens, treatment is ineffective or you experience unexpected or serious side effects.

18. Communication With Your GP

Where clinically appropriate and in the interests of safe and joined-up care, relevant information about your consultation or treatment may be shared with your GP or another healthcare professional involved in your care.

Where appropriate, we will seek your consent.

Information may also be disclosed without consent where required by law or where disclosure is necessary to protect your health or the safety of another person.

19. Website Security and Acceptable Use

We take reasonable measures to protect our website and systems but cannot guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free or completely free from malicious software.

You must not introduce malware, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with our systems, bypass security controls, carry out denial-of-service attacks or otherwise misuse the website.

Suspected criminal or malicious activity may be reported to the relevant authorities.

20. Intellectual Property

The website is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

21. Privacy and Confidentiality

Personal information is processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018.

Medical information and healthcare records are handled securely and accessed only by authorised personnel where required to provide healthcare services.

Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.

22. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to applicable law, we are not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate information provided by a patient, failure to follow clinical advice, misuse of medicines, third-party delivery delays, technical failures outside our reasonable control, interruptions to website availability or cyber incidents outside our reasonable control despite appropriate security measures.

Our services are provided for personal healthcare use.

23. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact:

info@i-prescribe.co.uk

Complaints will be handled fairly and confidentially in accordance with our Complaints Policy.

Where appropriate, we aim to acknowledge complaints within three working days and provide a full response as soon as reasonably practicable.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in legislation, regulation, professional standards or the services we provide.

The latest version will be published on our website and will take effect from the stated effective date.

25. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms will be dealt with in accordance with applicable UK law.
